May 5, 2013: Camp Brinkley time! Today was the day that Z and I went to day camp. Hubby usually takes Z to scout camp so this was my turn! In fact, L took her son J too so we rode to the came site together. It was so pretty there. I loved it! Time with my boy out in the middle of pretty views. Nothing better! Ok, back to the events of the day…. The day started with some shopping at the camp store where we got a few things including a walking stick for Z. Then we went on a cool hike and learned about a bunch of plants. Then the boys got to make a sword out of wood. Z made it all by himself. He even did the sawing part while I watched nervously. Then they got to rock climb before lunch. Next was archery then bb-gun shooting. What can I say, everything a boy loves to do and doesn’t get to do at home normally. Love it! We finished the day at Red Robin with L and J. It was a perfect Sunday!
