Birthday party at CEC

3-2-2012: We threw Z an 8th birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese. He invited a few classmates as well as a boy from his cub scout den and a neighbor. We got a bazillion tokens for the kids and even a pinata that was loaded with tokens and tickets. That is what CEC is all about at this age! The kids played games for a while before pizza then the live show took place. That is when Chuck E. Cheese comes out to greet the kids. Z got a cool medallion necklace and a crown filled with tokens. After pizza and cake, it was pinata time. Those kids went crazy over the stuff that fell out of the pinata. Z laid on the floor on top of his pile of tokens and tickets and wouldn’t budge until I brought him his loot bag. All the kids did that too. It was so funny to watch! After the pinata, Z got to go into the ticket blaster. He has been wanting to get in the ticket blaster for a while now. It was a perfect party with new friends! When we got home Z opened his gifts. He got some super cool gifts. One of them was a moon for his room – AWESOME!

Pizza time.

Why on earth would hubby take this picture. I think you can see up my nose. 🙂
