October 27, 2011 – The entire 2nd grade made individual pumpkin pies. Each class had a couple parents help the kids make their pies. W and I helped the kids in our class. We had everything in an assembly line and the kids had a great time making their pies. The cafeteria staff cooked all the pies and the kids got to eat them after lunch. Z said he loved the pie!
After school I took Z to Toys R Us to buy a birthday gift for JT. While we were there Z found this enormous Nerf gun he couldn’t live without. He spent $50 of his own money on it and I bought him the vest to hold all the ammo. He is really into the Nerf guns so this is a nice addition to his collection.
Later in the evening, after dinner, we went and Booed our friends. This was the first year that Z actually did the running and putting the goodie bag on the porch and rang the bell all on his own. He has an absolute BLAST!!!! What a perfect day!
