Today, Dec 6, was a busy day for our family. We took Z to the mall for another Kidgit’s activity (we went with some friends from our playgroup). It was wake up Santa day! When we arrived to the mall, each child got cool goodie bags with art stuff in them and they got to visit with friends and color. Then they got photo opportunities with the Chick Fil A cow and Beremy the mascot from Build A Bear. Then we walked through the mall singing Jingle Bells and then stopped at a sleep comfort store and got to yell “wake up Santa “. You see, he had been sleeping for a long time and needed to get up to get ready for Christmas night. After Santa woke up, he read stories to the kids. After story time, we were given breakfast, compliments of Chick Fil A. They also had some cheerleaders and a band at the mall for entertainment. The fun part was the kids were allowed to wear their pajamas to this event. How fun is that? We had a nice time.
After we had all the entertainment we could stand, we went to the forgotten angel tree and selected 2 little boys to buy presents for. Z is really excited to do this. We will return the items on Monday after school.
Then after getting home and eating some lunch, our friend D called and Z and I met her at Kaleidoscope Toys to see another Santa. (Hubby was at Home Depot looking for hooks to hang Christmas lights). After our visit with Santa, we went shopping for our forgotten angels presents. And when we pulled into the driveway, daddy was hanging Christmas lights.
